The
resistance of SECUTAG® to high temperatures
is 200º C, for brief moments up to 350º C.
SECUTAG® also resists most aggressive
media, such as organic solvents and chemicals, and may be incorporated
into various solid, fluid, pasty or powdery materials, or conveniently
applied straight onto the product.
SECUTAG® may also be used in various
printing processes, or applied by brush, a sprayer or a coating machine,
printed on labels, or by hot transfer. Cost-effective identification
methods can be applied by integrating SECUTAG®
into a printing process, such as offset, intaglio, letterpress,
flexographic, silk-screen or tampon-printing processes, and in dispenser
equipment or stamping foil. SECUTAG® can even be embedded in polyester
fibers and filaments of just 100 µm diameter for use in protecting textile
materials, bank notes, cheques or credit cards.
