Microscopic and extremely durable melamine alkyd polymer particles are the basis of SECUTAG®, and range in minute sizes of 0.005 - 0.045 millimeters (5 - 45 µm).

The choice of size depends on the intended usage. Our trademarked international identification system (patent pending) allows for more than 4.35 thousand million different basic color codes.
Layer thickness can start at 0.001 mm. The code is obtained by way of a "sandwich method", which has a structure of at least 4 to 10 layers of variable coloration
. Each and every color code is allocated to just one, and only one, user. In the case of dual codes, i.e. numerous particles combined, the number of codes is practically infinite. A code number is the product of the allocation of a specific numerical value to each individual color.
